For background information on the composition and structure of Messiah,

This performance of Handel's masterwork will offer
ONLY Part 1 - the "Christmas" portion of the oratorio - 
plus "Hallelujah" Chorus (the final chorus of Part 2)

Thus, there are a total of 7 choral movements for this performance:
Part 1:
#4 - Chorus - And the glory of the Lord
​#7 - Chorus - And He shall purify
#9 - Alto/Chorus - O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion
#12 - Chorus - For unto us a child is born
#17 - Chorus - Glory to God
#21 - Chorus - His yoke is easy

Part 2:
# 43 - "Hallelujah" Chorus

SCORES: any edition of the score is acceptable.
​But please download the two documents below, as they offer
 PERFORMANCE NOTES and INSTRUCTIONS from Maestro Griffith.
Read through them carefully movement by movement,
and mark your score appropriately, please.

Also, make sure to put MEASURE NUMBERS into your score
if they are not already there.
