Presently, Ms. Alexander conducts two major choral ensembles in the
NY-NJ metro area.
While each group has distinguished itself in its own programs, they have occasionally combined forces to sing large-scale works and special premieres, often at major venues, including Carnegie Hall,
Lincoln Center, the NJ Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Merkin Hall (NYC), Symphony Space,
Tribeca Performing Arts Center (Tribeca PAC), St. George Theater (Staten Island,)
Springer Concert Hall (College of Staten island), Count Basie Theater (Red Bank, NJ),
and Two River Theater (Red Bank, NJ).

Founded by Ms. Alexander in 1992, The Arcadian Chorale has distinguished itself as one of the most active and innovative ensembles in New Jersey. All rehearsals are open to prospective new members.
On June 10, 2023, the Chorale celebrated its 30th Anniversary with
"A Passion to Sing!"
The program featured Romantic era works from Brahms, Schubert, Rheinberger, Elgar, Dvorak, and Schumann, plus special works by contemporary composers. It was followed by a gala reception.
Rehearsals for the FALL 2024 program, "The Hope of Peace," are underway.

Ms. Alexander has been Music Director of the Richmond Choral Society on Staten Island, NYC since 1995. She has been dedicated to serving its mission of bringing great choral masterworks to the community, while also exploring rarely heard musical gems. New singers are invited to attend any upcoming rehearsal.
- Live rehearsals for the Fall 2024 season began on Mon., Sept. 9.
- Rehearsals take place at New Dorp Moravian Church every Monday from 7:30 - 9:30pm.
- For Spring 2024, RCS performed "Inspirations! Music for Heart and Soul," a program contrasting sacred and secular works of Romantic era composers (Schubert, Liszt, Rheinberger, & Beethoven, as well as contemporaries like Ola Gjeilo and Dan Forrest.
- For Fall 2024, RCS will join forces with Arcadian Chorale to sing "The Hope of Peace." The performance on Staten Island will take place on Sat., Dec. 14 at 8 PM at The Church of St. Clare, 110 Nelson Avenue.

In 2004, Ms. Alexander became the Music Director of the Metropolitan Greek Chorale, an ensemble which explores repertory from the Byzantine sacred tradition, Greek folk music, and Western repertory. The group is no longer performing.
For Spring 2016, the Chorale presented "Blessed are Those Who Sing," a program based on the Beatitudes. The concert on Saturday, June 4 included works by Liszt, Billings, and Mocnik, plus Byzantine chant.
