This season, Arcadian Chorale and Richmond Choral Society have opted to collaborate on their holiday program.

The performance on Staten Island will take place on
Sat., Dec. 12 at 8:00 PM (SITE TBA).
The performance in NJ will take place on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 4:00 PM,
at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Freehold.
Singers should plan to sing in BOTH performances. The more, the merrier!!!

REPERTORY and RESOURCES for FALL 2026
The centerpiece of our program is
Dan Forrest's "Jubilate Deo!"
This major work is a setting of Psalm 100, predominantly in Latin.
Inserted within the work are interjections of the text "Shout to the Lord, all ye lands!"
in eight different languages. -- Latin, Hebrew, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Zulu, Spanish, and English.
The composer states "Each movement combines characteristics of its language-group’s musical culture.
Then the finale unites many of the key themes and cultures from previous movements with other material, both old and new, as all the earth sings as one, “omnis terra, jubilate!”
This cantata runs about 45 minutes is in 7 movements - but they will NOT be performed as a united work.
Instead, either after or before each of its movements, we will
interpolate contemporary works on the similar themes and celebrating the holidays.
